Arkon Sticky Suction Windshield or Dash Car Mount for XM Satellite Radio and Single-T Holders

The GN079WD-SBH-1B sticky suction pedestal works with any device or holder (sold separately) built around the Single T-Slot mounting pattern, which covers XM Satellite Radios (XM Onyx, StarMate, Stratus, Roady, Samsung Nexus & Helix) plus universal third-party holders from brands such as Bracketron, Scosche and Peripower. What you get in the box is the Sticky Suction Mounting Pedestal itself, fitted with a Single-T Head and a 3-inch articulating arm, along with an optional 3M adhesive dashboard mounting disk. (Holders sold separately.) It is designed for car dashboards, windscreens and other flat or lightly textured panels, with a base that pairs polyurethane gel with vacuum suction for the strongest possible hold on the surface. The 3-inch articulating arm tilts vertically and spins a full 360 degrees, so you can line the screen up from practically any seating position. Setting it up takes moments: wipe the mounting spot with the supplied alcohol pad for the best possible grip, position the pedestal, then press the one-touch lever to draw the suction. On dashboards trimmed in soft vinyl, leather or similar materials, Arkon suggests fitting the included 3M adhesive disk first so the pad cannot leave a permanent impression. Despite the serious holding power, the pedestal comes away easily and can be refitted as often as you like. Should grip fall away because dust or grit has built up on the sticky suction pad, rinse the pad under warm water with a mild liquid soap and leave it to air dry — the suction comes back.
