The MAG179 Magnetic Phone Mount is a quality magnetic in-car holder for your handset. The pedestal base pairs polyurethane gel with suction for maximum surface bond, while the 3-inch arm adjusts vertically and rotates 360 degrees so you can set the viewing angle exactly where you want it. On soft vinyl, leather or similar dash materials, Arkon recommends fitting the supplied 3M adhesive disk first to avoid leaving permanent indentation marks. The sticky suction pad is seriously strong yet still lifts off cleanly and can be reused. Should the grip weaken over time, rinse the pad in warm water with a mild liquid soap, let it air dry, and the suction comes back.
