The RM0792TWD windscreen or dash sticky suction mounting pedestal belongs to Arkon’s Robust Mount Series. Use it to replace or upgrade a pedestal you already own, then attach any of Arkon’s Dual-T pattern compatible universal smartphone and tablet holders (sold separately) — among them the Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder (SM060-2), the Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001) and the Mega Grip Universal Smartphone Holder (SM040-2). What you receive here is the Heavy-Duty 80mm Sticky Suction Mounting Pedestal with Dual-T Head plus an optional adhesive dash disk, and nothing else. (Holders sold separately.) The suction pedestal is at home on car windscreens, dashboards and other flat or slightly textured surfaces. Built from a mix of plastic and glass fibre, this tough, low vibration pedestal stands roughly 6.5 inches from the underside of the base to the top of the pedestal, holder excluded. Because the arm pivots at both ends, you get full 360-degree rotation and can dial in almost any viewing angle for your phone or tablet. The 80mm sticky suction base pairs polyurethane gel with suction for maximum surface grip across all climates, and suction is easily revived — rinse the pad in warm water with a mild liquid soap and let it air dry. On soft vinyl, leather or similar dash materials, Arkon recommends fitting the supplied 3M adhesive dash mounting disk to avoid leaving permanent indentation marks.
