Built around a long-arm windscreen suction pedestal, the SM6-CM117 suits smartphones measuring up to 6.75" tall (8" screen size) — iPhone X, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8, S7 edge, S7, S6 edge+ and S6, Galaxy Note 8, Note 5 and Note 4, LG G6, G5 and G4, Nexus 6 and Nexus 5, HTC One M9, One M8 and One Max, Nokia Lumia 1520 and 1020, plus the Motorola Moto G and Moto X. Midsize tablets with 7" or 8" screens are equally at home, including the iPad mini, Galaxy Tab S 8.4, Galaxy Note 8.0, Galaxy Tab 4 or 3 7.0 and 8.0, Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and Google Nexus 7. In the box you'll find Arkon's Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone Holder together with a Rigid Long Extension Windshield Suction Pedestal with Telescoping Arm. Fitting the pedestal takes seconds: press the base flat against your chosen spot on the glass and flick the one-touch lever down. From there, the sturdy telescopic arm extends anywhere between 14.5 inches and 18.5 inches, keeping your phone or tablet within easy reach. Because the Slim-Grip Ultra's legs adjust at both the top and the bottom, side-mounted buttons and ports remain accessible — handy for devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ or Note Edge. The patented spring-loaded cradle stretches to take on any device, including those wearing skins or rugged cases. Eight support legs are supplied with the holder (4 short and 4 longer) so you can tailor the fit to your device size. Most devices sit best with the 2 short legs up top and the 2 long legs at the bottom. Anything taller than 5.25" should run all 4 long support legs, while smaller devices are best served by all 4 short legs.
