The pedestal's solid telescopic arm draws out from 14.5 inches to 18.5 inches so the tablet sits comfortably within reach. Fitting the suction pedestal to the windscreen takes seconds: press the base flat against the chosen spot and push the one-touch lever down. On the side of Arkon's Universal Push-Button Tablet Holder you'll find a straightforward one-touch release button. The holder itself measures 6.5 inches high by 4.6 inches wide and spreads to a full 9" to hold any large tablet (9" to 12" screen size) firmly in place. Slide the tablet in horizontally, then push the grip arm down to lock it. Rotate the 360° swivel whenever you'd rather view the screen in portrait. Taking the tablet out is just as easy — press the side button and the grip arm releases.
