Give your 1/4"-20 compatible camera mount, tripod or monopod a second life as a 22mm ball pedestal, ready to carry a smartphone or tablet holder. It suits any camera mount with a fixed 1/4"-20 screw bolt, plus tripods and monopods using the same 1/4"-20 thread. (Mounts, holders and devices are sold separately.) Simply thread the adapter onto the 1/4"-20 bolt, then clip on your choice of 22mm ball compatible holder or adapter. Team it with one of Arkon's 22mm ball adapters and you can change over to a 4-Hole AMPS pattern (Model SP-SB-AMPS-22), a Dual T-Tab pattern (Model SP-SB-KIT-22), or a 4-Prong pattern (Model SPSB4P22M).
